Blue e-Motion was given the task of setting up a new platform for the sale of audio-hifi-video equipment to the Lotronic dealer network (importer and distributor of the brands BST, Boost, Afx, Ibiza, Madison, …).
Challenge
The challenge was to be able to produce a fast, elegant and very functional site allowing dealers to easily browse a catalogue of over 1000 products.
The aim was to make the buying process as smooth as possible so that resellers could focus on their core business.
Solution
The solution is implemented in Prestashop with a design adapted to the specificities of Lotronic.
The site allows logged-in users to browse the catalogue with their specific pricing conditions. Each product has a detailed sheet. Everything is easily found thanks to a fast and powerful search engine.
All elements, whether customers, products (with their data and images) come from the customer’s internal management tool SAP Business 1. Orders are automatically retrieved by SAP for fast processing.
In addition, a translation management tool based on the Laravel framework was implemented to manage the 5 languages used not only on the website but also to generate the text content of the paper catalogues for each of the distributed brands.
Impact
As soon as it went live, the site was immediately and massively adopted by the network of retailers who now use it on a daily basis to manage their supply of equipment from Lotronic.
Thanks to its close link with the SAP Business 1 internal management system, it avoids administrative overload and has made the commercial process as fluid as possible.
This is a first step that will lead to further digitalization at this reference in audio/video equipment for events!
